Mystic Circle
Jerry Beck ’54 entered the Mystic Circle on December 10, 2013. He was a captain in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. He also received a J.D. degree from Cumberland Law School. He worked at Wiggins and Childs as a partner in Birmingham, Ala. He is survived by his wife, Lucinda.

Bob Kennedy ’56 has authored three thrillers during his retirement: The Protocol, Jackpot, and Something’s Amiss at Shades Valley Estates. He lives in Gainesville, Ga. E-mail: [email protected]

Dr. Allen L. Yeilding ’78 practices hematology/oncology, is chairman of the board of visitors at the University of Alabama Honors College, and is a member of the U of A Presidential Cabinet. He is married to Cindy, and they have four children: Christopher, who is an attorney at Balch and Birmingham and has two children; Frank who works in finance for baseball development and professional softball; Vivian who is a USA Medical School 2015 graduate and a surgery resident; and Allen Jr, who is a DKE graduate looking for a job. Keith Lichtman ’98 is the managing partner of Mills Paskert Divers at the Atlanta office. He specializes in construction, security, fidelity law, and litigation. Keith and his wife, Susan, had their first child, Hensley, this year. E-mail: [email protected]
Dr. Justin A. Parden ’04 and his wife, Dr. Ali Parden, are finishing fellowship training at UAB in June 2016, and are hoping to move to Mobile in July 2016. He will be in vascular surgery and Ali will be in urogynecology and female pelvic floor reconstruction. E-mail: [email protected]
Andrew E. Hillery ’07 moved to Australia in 2012 to find a new challenge in his career in medical laser equipment. In addition to leading sales in the industry, he just climbed Mount Denali, which is his fifth of seven summits completed. He has yet to return to Bama, but hopes all is well at the DKE house where he learned so much about life.
Charlie L. Dennis ’09 graduated from the Cumberland School of Law with his J.D. in May 2013, and was admitted into the AL Bar Association in September that year. In May 2014, he graduated from UAB with a masters of business administration. E-mail: [email protected]
